    So after about three months of development time, testing, bug fixing, and configuration, we have finally come to the point where we can release BattleManager3.

    Can I get a hip-hip-hooray?!

    BattleManager 3 supports the basic concepts of BattleManager 2 fully -- we specify inventories and abilities, and you all go kill each other. However, BattleManager 3 is much more than that. We've already added Tower Defense and an Enderdragon Fight mode. It's a game engine that we can expand to bring Minecraft to its limits. So let's do it!

    Below, I'd like you to post your feature requests and changes or fixes you can think of and find. No feature is too small or too large to suggest. If someone else makes a request that you like, second it! The more hype a feature gets, the more effort we'll be able to put into it.

    Here's a list of current suggestions and plans in no particular order.

    Gamemodes
    Hunger Games - Implemented
    Choose Inventory
    PvE/Mob Boss Fights

    Modifications to current features
    Rolling participants (the ability to join an existing battle) - Done

    Currently known bugs
    - Messages for DJ are a bit broken - Fixed
    - Engineer turrets don't work on team battles - Can't replicate
    - Switching classes in pre-main wait changes your ability, but not your inventory - Fixed

    Changelog for battle classes
    • Soldier
      • Nerfed explosion power
      • Removed cooldown
      • Set max snowballs to 6
      • Set max snowballs to 10
      • Added a 1 second cooldown on snowballs
    • Demo man
      • Removed stack of Cobwebs. Demo now only has ten cobwebs
      • Removed inventory full of TNT (originally intended as a joke). Demo now has only one stack of TNT.
      • Added cooldown
      • Nerfed explosion damage
      • Nerfed explosion damage
      • Buffed explosion damage
    • Sniper
      • Removed blinding arrows from the M98B
      • Removed knockback enchant from the M98B
      • Nerfed bow power

      • Added a 1 second cooldown
      • Nerfed armor-ignoring damage & decreased effective radius of it
      • Nerfed armor-ignoring damage
    • Dragonborn
      • Slightly reduced the radius of the Unrelenting Force shout (nerf)

      • Removed ratelimit on Fireballs
      • Buffed explosion power of fireballs
    • Creeper
      • Nerfed explosion power to be TNT-sized
      • Removed some Creeper eggs from the inventory
    • Wile
      • Changed anvil despawn time from 30 seconds to 20 seconds
      • Nerfed Anvil damage (5 hearts to 4.5)
      • Nerfed Anvil damage (7.5 hearts -> 5.5 hearts)
    • Necromancer
      • Removed a lot of the spawn eggs
    • Warrior
      • Removed blast protection from armor
      • Added some blast protection on the armor
    • Brawler
      • Raised threshold of Rage from 3 hearts to 4.5

    I'd really like to see Copyinv coming back, as do a great many of people I've talked to. Thanks for all the hard work on LOB.

    i am BIG on the hunger games option, altough could be a bit difficult to sort out.

    Found bugs:

    The button for DJ in the classes area doesn't work. You can only select DJ with /b class. - Fixed -SnoFox
    Doing /b class soldier doesn't in fact change you to the soldier class, but when you respawn you have no items or armor. Same problem with Indian. May want to check for other /b class that don't work. - Confirmed - switching from DJ to other classes causes an issue. Fixed. -SnoFox

    EDIT: Sniper and demo don't work either. Idk if /b class works at all even. Part of above bug -SnoFox

    Also, soldier is horribly OP, please change the regen of snowballs to 5 secs or something. - Soldiers have had a regen of 5 seconds, I just mis-typed a config option so it defaulted back to 1 second. Additionally, soldiers now can only have a maximum of 10 snowballs. -SnoFox

    I'd like to see some custom bosses in the arenas, like mobs that are MCedited to have higher health and special potion effects. I've seen a lot of these in adventure maps and I bet you guys could make some pretty remarkable stuff with Battlemanager 3.

    We could do that too -- It'd be pretty easy. The thing with boss mobs though, is we'd need a cool arena to put them in. If we can get some good PvE arenas worked out, I will look into adding this game type.

    PvE arenas eh? Just tell me what the size should be and i'll focus on working on that eventually.

    toamini wants to have piggy sniper races
    basically people on piggys racing to the other end while being shot my arrows from opponents.
    if your piggy dies your out

    Pig racing alone would be cool, I had a pretty awesome race track on the old LOC.

    A race mode could be interesting. And with our code for tower defense, we may also be able to predefine pig-paths for a sniper battle too.

    In Lumina, some of the arena has the glass wall surrounding it, as if the arena wasn't completely selected to import. As a result, some players spawn on opposite sides of the wall, making it impossible to fight.

    I do like the wither boss battle fight I mean cmon if we have a ender dragon fight we should have a wither fight. Just saying.

    As soon as a player spawns in a horse race (at least in the Rainbowroad course) they're instantly killed, it makes races completely unplayable.

    I have also gone though that glitch but it only happens sometimes to me.

    Horse races seem to be broken, at least in the InfernalRace course. Laps don't go up as you race, I played with a bunch of other people and our lap counts wouldn't go up at all when we crossed the finish line. Halfway through I get the message that I skipped a checkpoint, even though I played as normal.

    I would suggest adding some kind of Anti spawnzone (around 5-10 blocks radius), so spawn camping is not that easy anymore and people who are hiding themselves (because of low life) or are just there after a fight don't get instantly killed by a new respawn.

    Also spawn protection would be nice to prevent spawncamping with, lets say, engineer turrets (should be enough time to break those or to run to a safier place).
